Pre-purchase and pre-lease inspections
Buying or leasing a home or business premises is a big decision. A building biology inspection looks at the things a standard building and pest report doesn't, so you know what you're moving into before you sign.
What I check
- Moisture and signs of mould, including hidden moisture in walls and floors
- Electromagnetic fields from power lines, substations, meter boxes and wiring
- Radio frequency EMF from nearby mobile phone towers and other sources
- Indoor air quality and ventilation
- Water quality and building materials, where relevant
What you receive
A summary of findings and recommendations you can use to decide, negotiate, or plan any fixes before you move in. A full written report is available on request. Readings are compared with the Building Biology Evaluation Guidelines (SBM-2024) where relevant.
